Frân Wen Young Company

From the streets of Bangor to national galleries, from stages to screen, from performing to scriptwriting, and from dancing to devising - that's what Young Company is all about.

What’s the Young Company?

Frân Wen’s Young Company is a theatre company driven by young people in north west Wales in order to:

  • develop theatre-making and performing skills

  • share creative ideas with other young people

  • collaborate a co-create with exceptional artists

  • share stories in unique ways

  • have a lot of fun!

Just performing?

Creating theatre is so much more than just performing on stage. Our Young Company explores and experiments with various theatre-making skills, including:

  • Writing

Running a Young Company is costly, we ask for a contribution per term.

Young Company is open to everyone, and we don't want the cost to be an obstacle for anyone. There are a few bursaries available for those who receive free school lunches.

Young Company runs in Welsh and we welcome new Welsh speakers. We provide enough support to help members feel confident.
