Our Young Company: Writing progamme is an excellent opportunity for young people between 16 and 25 years old to develop your voice alongside some of Wales’ most exciting playwrights.
We’ll bring together a series of masterclasses with:
- Mared Llywelyn
- Leo Drayton
- Hanna Jarman
- Daf James
- Elgan Rhys
- Lowri Morgan
Each artist will open up a different part of the craft. From ideas and character to structure, dialogue, experimentation and turning something in your head into work for the stage.
The programme will lead towards developing your own work, with opportunities to hear it performed through live readings at Nyth and beyond.
The Writing pathway is hybrid, so you can join us at Nyth or online.
WHEN?
The crew meets once a month between 5pm and 8pm on Wednesdays with some additional days.
The first session is Wednesday, 23 September 2026.
We ask for a commitment to all dates, with very little flexibility possible depending on circumstances.
WHERE?
Nyth, Garth Road, Bangor, LL57 2RW
COST?
£50 a term.

LANGUAGE
The programme is held through the medium of Welsh and we welcome new Welsh speakers. We will provide support to help members feel confident.
