10 years later and Theatr Unnos is back at the Eisteddfod. Fancy taking part?

This is your space to play. Whether you are a writer, musician, designer, performer, or dancer. We need you!

• Dates and times: 1pm Wednesday, 5 August - 9pm Thursday, 6 August (rest is optional between 12am and 8am on 6 August, but Caffi Maes B will be available all night).
• Location: The National Eisteddfod of Wales, Llantwd, in the heart of north Pembrokeshire.
• Fee: £400 (to include travel expenses and accommodation should you decide to rest!)

What is Theatr Unnos?

Imagine a combination of a creative boot camp and an artistic sleepover.

Theatr Unnos brings theatre creators, artists, and performers together. No preparation. No plan. Just 24 hours of honest, instinctive creation.

You will receive a challenge. And then? Create something. Fast.

You will share your 30-minute piece with an audience during a fun sharing evening at Caffi Maes B on the Eisteddfod maes.

The Rules

No pre-written scripts. Just instinct, trust, chaos, and creativity.

Take a risk. Support one another. Create a glorious mess. Surprise yourself. This isn't about perfection. It’s about possibilities. No judging. Just enjoying.

Theatr Unnos takes ideas back to their roots, the spark, that strange and wonderful moment before the planning begins. In a world of deadlines and grant forms, this is a chance to take a leap and go for it.

The project will take place through the medium of Welsh, and we welcome applications from new Welsh speakers, offering support as needed.
