A welcoming space for young adults
An arts prescription project
The Wellbeing Studio offered a welcoming space for young adults aged 18–30 to take part in creative sessions with performers, artists, writers, and musicians. These sessions supported participants with anxiety, low confidence, difficulty socialising, and loneliness.
The informal sessions were free and took place at Nyth, with drop-in sessions lasting two hours. Participants could attend one, two, or all of the sessions.
All sessions were facilitated by professional artists, including Casi Wyn, Mirain Fflur, Robin Edwards, Mari Gwent, and Elgan Rhys.
The Wellbeing Studio was a partnership between Gwynedd Community Arts, Bodnant Surgery Bangor, and Bangor University's Student Wellbeing Department.
