Encouraging young people to use the arts as a medium of expression.
Explore well-being through the arts
Fi di FI is an innovative project that offers schools the opportunity to work with a team of multimedia artists led by Frân Wen to explore well-being through the arts.
Designed to suit your needs
The project can be adapted to meet the specific needs of schools and young people. Past projects have covered a wide range of themes including homophobia, domestic violence, specific mental health issues such as self-harm and celebrating identity and the Welsh language.
Whatever the theme the essence of the project is to promote the use of the arts as a means of expression and thus offer young people the opportunity to develop skills in a variety of arts fields, improve confidence and understanding of self-interest, encourage empathy among peers and enjoy, recognize and celebrate success.
The first three schools to welcome Fi Di Di are Ysgol Brynrefail, Ysgol Pendalar and Ysgol David Hughes.
