Frân Wen is looking for children between the ages of 11-14 to play the part of Deian and Loli in a new stage play, which will tour Wales in 2024.

We encourage applications from neurodiverse, blind, deaf, disabled or Global Majority individuals, as well as people from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds.

You don't have to have any previous experience of acting or performing - just enthusiasm and bags of energy! The ability to speak Welsh is essential.

Rehearsals for the show will take place in Bangor between March and April 2024 and the Wales tour happens between April and June 2024.

HOW

In order to be considered for the part of Deian or Loli, fill in this form, upload a photograph and also a short video of yourself (no more than 2 minutes) introducing yourself and tell an interesting or funny story about yourself.

You will initially have to register with the Submit system, log in, and then fill in the form.

The videos must have been filmed in 1080p and 30FPS (which is the general setting for smartphones).

THE PROCESS

After receiving the applications we will create a shortlist and invite a small number to attend a workshop during December 2023.

We aim to contact each candidate to say whether they have reached the next round or not by the beginning of December.
