Double trouble for Deian a Loli

Announcing the two sets of Deian and Loli for the stage adaptation of the TV phenomenon.

Four young actors from North Wales have been named as the two pairs of mischievous twins who will perform in Deian and Loli: Y Ribidirew Olaf.

Jack Thomas-Humphreys from Tanygrisiau and Ifan Miners from Penisarwaun will share the role of Deian with Gweni Roberts from Llithfaen and Casi Williams from Brynteg sharing the role of Loli.

The two sets, Gweni and Jack and Casi and Ifan, will play the iconic twins alternately throughout the tour. They will appear on stage for the first time in April as part of a Welsh theatre tour.

Pontio, Bangor 30 April - 04 May
Canolfan y Celfyddydau Aberystwyth 09 - 11 May
Pavillion Theatre, Rhyl 14 - 15 May
Lyric Theatre, Carmarthen 21 - 24 May
Sherman Theatre, Caerdiff 05 - 08 June

Y Ribidirew Olaf takes place on the twin’s first day in secondary school - but the car keys are missing which means they can't go to school. Loli insists that her imaginary friend has stolen them.

They have no choice but to say the magic word - RIBIDIREW! - and freeze their parents as the twins go in search of the key thief.

There will be special performances for schools and the general public (evening / weekend) in every theatre.

There will be British Sign Language (BSL) and audio description (headphones) performances in every venue.

Deian a Loli - Y Ribidirew Olaf is produced by Frân Wen in partnership with Pontio, with the support of Cwmni Da, the producers of the TV series.
